Moving Voices is Celebrating Children by joining Minds Wide Open: Virginia Celebrates Children In the Arts 2012. Patricia Ward, recipient of the prestigious Anita Zahn Award for Education of The Child will stage and present an evening length Festival honoring children with Isadora Duncan Dance and The Movement Arts.

A profusion of magnificent works from modern dance notables Isadora Duncan, Loie Fuller and Ruth St. Denis demonstrate the eternal timelessness of this body of seminal works.
Working with Moving Voices and several other community partners, Halifax County school system officials have been awarded two grants totaling over $1 million for two 21stCentury Community Learning Centers.
Partnering with Moving Voices will provide middle school students in the after-school program an opportunity for cultural enrichment to integrate movement and dance.
